Mary E. (Martin) Golojuch

MILLBURY – Mary E. (Martin) Golojuch, 63, of Millbury, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 1, 2016 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Born in Ithaca and raised in Auburn, New York, Mary was the daughter of Albert E. and Deborah J. (Purdy) Martin and lived 31 years in the Providence, Rhode Island area before moving to Millbury in 2009. She leaves her loving daughter, Melissa L. Callahan and son-in-law, William of Grand Rapids, Michigan; her sister, Deborah J. Plugh of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Gale W. Martin of Auburn, New York and David P. Martin of Clear Lake, Minnesota; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mary is predeceased by her brother, Richard C. Martin. Mary graduated from West High School in Auburn, NY and worked for over 35 years in banking, retiring from Commerce Bank in 2014. She was an avid reader and always well versed on news, politics and events. A tremendous animal lover she adopted and cared for several cats. She will be fondly remembered for her intelligence, compassionate spirit and love for her family.
