EAST DOUGLAS/STERLING – Mary Lynne (Gale) Beshaw, 54, of 39 Linden Street, East Douglas, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, in UMass Memorial, Worcester, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 35 years, Joseph C. Beshaw; her son at home, James W. Beshaw; a daughter, Rachel L. Beshaw of Belchertown; her mother, Patricia (Hayes) Gale of Gardner; three brothers, Steven Gale of St. Augustine, FL, Robert Gale and Alan Gale both of Fitchburg; two sisters, Ann Fini of Templeton and Marla Gale of Erving; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Beshaw was born in Cambridge, daughter of the late Harrison Gale, and lived in Sterling for 16 years before moving to East Douglas in 1992. She was Marketing Director at Aberman & Associates in Lancaster for 30 years. She was a member of St. Richard of Chichester Church.
The funeral for Mrs. Beshaw will be held on Tuesday, March 14, from the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge Street, Sterling. Burial will be private. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 13, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Richard of Chichester Church, P.O. Box 657, Sterling, MA 01564-0657.
