Mary Jean (Grady) Flynn

HOLDEN - Mary Jean (Grady) Flynn, 97, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Alder Leaf Assisted Living. She was born in North Brookfield, the daughter of John T. and Mary T. (Dee) Grady and had lived in North Brookfield and Holden before moving to Arizona in 2002.
She leaves her daughters, Mary Ellen Basmarjian of Fresno, CA, and Jane A. Langelier of Queen Creek, AZ with whom she lived; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Martha A. Langelier.
Mary graduated from North Brookfield High School in 1942 and worked at Rutland Heights Hospital as a senior clerk for 25 years before retiring in 1991. She was a former member St. Mary's Church in Holden and enjoyed reading and traveling.
A graveside service for Mary will be held at a future date at St. John's Cemetery in Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
