PAXTON - Mary C. (Geer) Everleth, 89, of Paxton, wife of the late David D. Everleth, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester, after a short illness.She was born in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of Harry W. and Ruth (Gray) Geer. She was raised in Worcester and graduated Commerce High School in 1946. She earned an Associate's degree from Quinsigamond Community College in 1982 and worked as respiratory therapist at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester.She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Paxton and enjoyed spending her summers with her family in York, Maine.Her husband of 51 years, David D. Everleth, died in 1999. She leaves her two sons, Mark D. Everleth of West Boylston and Richard D. Everleth of Holden; a daughter, Barbara L. Bateman of Jefferson; two grandchildren, Kyle and Karla Bateman; and two great-granddaughters, Grace and Lily Bateman. A sister, Betty Flagg of Oakdale, predeceased her.Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Mary's family from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 6, at the First Congregational Church of Paxton, 1 Church Street. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery, 261 Richards Avenue, Paxton. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of one's choice.
