Mary Ann (Scappaticci) Hatstat

RUTLAND - Mary Ann (Scappaticci) Hatstat, 93, died peacefully on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Gardner Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Antonio and Lucia (Nottorangelo) Scapaticci and has lived in Rutland for many years.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert G. Hatstat, Sr. in 1998. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Robert Hatstat, Jr. and his wife, Diana of Rutland and Francis Hatstat and his wife, Deborah of Washington; daughter, Robin Poirier and her husband, Albert of Florida; brother, Benjamin Scappaticci; sisters, Santina Russo and Michelena Brouillette; grandchildren, Robert, Jared and Aaron Hatstat; and her great grandson, Caleb. She was predeceased by a sister, Philomena Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 11 a.m. to 12 noon followed by a funeral service at 12 noon on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery, Main Street, Rutland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Ann’s memory to St. Jude’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
