Mary Ellen (Anderson) D'Entremont

HOLDEN-Mary Ellen (Anderson) D’Entremont, 60, died peacefully at home on July 29, 2014.



Mary Ellen was born in Lowell, a daughter of the late Carl G. and Ellen M. (Darcy) Anderson. She graduated from Lowell High School in 1972 and Merrimac College in 1976, with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.



Mary Ellen worked for several hospitals in the medical technology field. Long before the prolific use of computers in healthcare facilities, a medical technologist completed most of the computing tasks by hand. Mary Ellen had a great talent for this. She worked for several hospitals, including the UMass Hospital, Worcester for over 20 years, and later retired from Saint Vincent Hospital.



She was the beloved wife of the late Paul D’Entremont, who died in 1996. She leaves her two brothers, Richard C. Anderson and his wife, Michelle of Lowell, and James J. Davulis and his wife, Brenda of Kingston, NH; her nieces and nephews, Rebecca M. Anderson, David M. Anderson and his wife, Guinevere, Colleen E. Anderson, William V. Anderson and his wife, Kathleen, Laura Beth Davulis, and Maura R. Foster and her husband, Daniel Ambrosio; as well grand niece and grand nephew, Elise and Brennan Anderson .



A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8, at 11 a.m. in the Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield. There are no visiting hours.
