Martha A. Gibson

April 18, 1930 — October 18, 2018

Martha Ann Gibson from Princeton, Massachusetts passed away on October 18. She leaves her son Mark Reid Gibson, his wife Lori Gibson of W. Kingston RI., two grandchildren, Halley Gibson of Natick MA and Jenna Gibson of Exeter RI. She leaves two sisters Jean Mosa, wife of Joseph Mosa, Simsbury CT and Phyllis Jablonski wife of Gene Jablonski of Oxford. She is preceded in passing by her husband Robert Irving and her son Todd Macdonald.

Martha was a graduate of Atlantic Union College where she majored in language and music. She was a skilled artist and painted a full-length mural of the Thayer conservatory campus. She was a resident of Princeton for 40 years until moving to Worcester then Rutland.
She was an avid sports enthusiast, a member of the Wachusett Mountain Ski Club and the Princeton Tennis Club. She was excellent in swimming having instructed the Red Cross swimming program for the town of Princeton for many years. She was also an accomplished musician and taught lessons for many years.

We would like to thank all the staff at the Christopher house for their excellent care as well as the Jewish health care hospice team. Miles Funeral Home in Holden MA will conduct a private family burial at Eastwood cemetery, Lancaster. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, National Headquarters, 225 N.
