WORCESTER – Martha Ann (Angwin) Hossain, 72, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Parsons Hill Nursing Home after an illness. She was born in Concord, NH, the daughter of John Angwin and Edith (Taylor) Angwin-Tasker and graduated from Saint Anselm College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and earned her Master’s degree at Assumption College.
Her loving husband of 26 years, Moazzem Hossain, MD, passed away in 1992. She leaves a son, Charles T. Hossain and his wife, Morgan Jameson of South Portland, Maine; a daughter, Lisa Goss and her husband, Timothy of Princeton; three brothers, Jeffrey, Kevin and Daniel Tasker, all of Northwood, New Hampshire; a sister, Lana Thomas of Sanford, Florida; two grandchildren, Dhara Blanchette and Elizabeth Goss, both of Princeton; and many nephews, nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Martha was a psychiatric nurse for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Prison System for many years. She also was a private practice nurse with her husband.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, March 7, followed by a memorial service at 12 noon in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
