HULL/WORCESTER – Mark P. Boxshus, 66, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Norwood Healthcare. He was born and raised in Worcester, the son of the late John “Jack” P., Sr. and Norida J. (Krill) Boxshus and had lived in New York and Boston before settling seaside in Hull, MA.
Mark graduated from Burncoat High School in 1973 and Nichols College with a dual degree in Marketing and Management with a minor in Psychology in 1977. He was the first recipient of the “Clarence McKeen” award for excellence in marketing.
In his professional confectionary career he was the former Eastern Regional Sales Manager for RJ Nabisco/Merckens Chocolate, National Accounts Sales Manager for World’s Finest Chocolate and former President/CEO of The New England Spice Company. Being a true ‘‘Foodie” he loved anything chocolate, spending time in the kitchen, traveling, spending time by the ocean and loved his animals who were like his children.
He leaves his brother, John P. Boxshus, Jr. of Rutland; his sister, Nancy A. Stone of Concord, MA; two nieces; three nephews and several cousins.
Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations, 350 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
