Marjorie L. (Benaglia) Oslebo

HOLDEN - Marjorie L. (Benaglia) Oslebo, 85, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Born in Boston and raised in Worcester, Marjorie was the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Biggi) Benaglia, and had lived 58 years in Holden. Her beloved husband of 57 years, Ronald Oslebo, died in 2013.

She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Diane L. Oslebo of Rutland; two sons, Mark R. Oslebo and his wife, Beatrix of Stuttgart, Germany and Paul J. Oslebo and his wife, Marie of Jefferson & Fort Myers Beach, FL; four grandchildren, April Oslebo of Barre, Kristin Rivera and husband, Marcus of Worcester, David Oslebo and his wife, Erika of Jefferson and Lisa Oslebo of Germany; a great-granddaughter, Raelynn Oslebo of Jefferson; and her beloved caregiver, Patricia Turay who cared for her for the past 18 months. She leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph.

Marjorie graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester and worked as a secretary at State Mutual and drove a school bus in Holden for 35 years.

Marjorie was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with them at the beach whether in Fort Myers Beach, Moody Beach or the Cape. She had a special Meet & Eat group of friends that met over 60 years ago and are still going strong today. She had a passion for fried clams, fritos & dip, pondusa and homemade raviolis.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Marjorie's family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 21, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden and again at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, followed by a procession to St. Mary's Church, 114 Princeton St., Jefferson for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Spring burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Holden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Church, P.O. Box 2200, Jefferson, MA 01522.
