HOLDEN – Marjorie “Midge” N. (Nash) Crystoff, 79, of 1567 Main Street, Jefferson, died unexpectedly Thursday, February 12, 2004, in her home.
She leaves her husband of 45 years, John F. Crystoff; a son, James J. Crystoff of Hubbardston; two daughters, Jo-Anne Crystoff of Holden, and Susan C. Crystoff Osborne, and her husband, Arthur A. Osborne of North Brookfield; a sister, Violet Williams of Fitchburg; two grandchildren, Daniel and Griffin Reilly both of Jefferson. A brother, Glenn Nash, predeceased her. She was born in Brattleboro, Vermont, the daughter of Henry C. and Florence B. (Moody) Nash and lived 54 years in Holden.
Mrs. Crystoff graduated form Amherst High School, Amherst, MA, and Becker College in Worcester. She, along with her husband, owned and operated Holden Suburban Supply for 35 years. Previously, she was a physician assistant and worked for Dr. James T. Blodgett in West Boylston for 13 years. She was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Holden and a long time member and director of its Alter Guild. She was a volunteer in the Holden Schools and a former 4-H leader in Holden.
The memorial service for Mrs. Crystoff will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2004, in St. Francis Episcopal Church, 70 Highland Street (Rte. 31), Holden. Due to winter, burial will be private in the spring in Grove Cemetery, Holden. Calling hours are from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the memorial fund at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 70 Highland Street, Holden, MA 01520.
