PRINCETON – Marjorie L. (Grout) Cole, 87, a lifelong resident of Princeton, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 25, 2022. She was born in Holden, the daughter of Chester W. and Ethyl (Harrington) Grout.
She leaves her loving husband of 60 years, Durward W. Cole; her nephews, James MacGeachey of Florida, John MacGeachey and his companion, Colleen Hannam of Princeton, William Mason and his wife, Nicole of Rutland and Robert Mason and his wife, Linda of Rutland; her grand-nephews, Clayton Mason, and John Hannam; and her grand-nieces, Sophia, and Elizabeth Mason. She was predeceased by her sisters, Beverly Mason, and Lois MacGeachey.
Marjorie graduated from Princeton High School and later worked at Norton Company for 35 years before retiring. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Princeton and enjoyed sewing, knitting, and camping. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed her trips to Florida.
