Marion O. (Olsen) Moen

STERLING – Marion O. (Olsen) Moen, 93, of 32 Bean Road, died peacefully in her sleep at home on Sunday, March 26, 2006.
Her husband of 55 years, William C. Moen died in 1989. She leaves a son, Melvin O. and his wife Lisa Moen of Leominster; two daughters, Sonja M. and her husband Robert Richards with whom she lived, and Esther A. and her husband “Mudd” Sharrigan of Wiscasset, Maine; 14 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A son William C. Moen, Jr., three brothers and three sisters predeceased her. She was born in Norway the daughter of Mangus and Christina E. (Brandt) Olsen and lived in Boston, Woburn, many years in Clinton and 8 years in Sterling. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in Clinton and the Sons of Norway.
The funeral service for Mrs. Moen will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in Clinton, 175 Chestnut Street. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Woodland Street, Clinton. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling.
