Marion E. O'Connor

SHIRLEY – Marion Ellen O’Connor, 78, formerly of West Concord, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island the daughter of W. Harold “Skip” and Blanche H. (Silvy) O’Connor.

Marion graduated from Concord High School and was a self employed gardener. A very unique lady, Marion “The Plant Lady”, was happiest when her hands were covered with good soil planting her flowers that she loved to share with so many.

She leaves behind a brother, W. Neil O’Connor and his wife Nancy of Arizona; six nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen McDavitt and her niece, Maureen Dawson.

There are no services planned but next spring in her honor when the ground has warmed, please plant something in her memory. We think she would like that. A private committal service will take place at a later date in the family plot in Pascoag, Rhode Island.
