STERLING – Marion L. (Ingham) Stuart, 79, of 10 Charles Patten Drive, died Friday, May 14, 2004 in Umass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, James R. Stuart; a son, Jeffrey E. Stuart of Texas; a daughter, Catherine A. Fagan of Newtown Square, PA; and a granddaughter, Colleen M. Fagan of Newtown Square. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Joshua and Evelyn (Cody) Ingham, and lived in Sterling since 1986.
Mrs. Stuart was a draftsman in the mechanical engineering industry for many years, before retiring in 1982. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Unitarian in Lancaster. She sang in many choirs over the years. She was an artist, weaver, poet and enjoyed singing, crafts and flowers.
Mrs. Stuart’s memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2004 in the First Church of Christ Unitarian, 725 Main Street (on the common), Lancaster. Burial will be private in Oak Hill Cemetery, Clinton Road (Rte. 62), Sterling. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Umass Memorial Healthcare Critical Care Unit Fund, 55 Lake Ave. North, Worcester, 01655; or please donate blood in her memory at your local blood bank. Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Rd., Sterling, is directing arrangements.
