Biography
BARRE – Marion E. (Bowman) Gould, 101, passed away at the home of her daughter on Friday, June 28, 2013 after an illness.
Her husband of 63 years, John M. Gould passed away in 2002. She leaves two sons, J. Laurence Gould and his wife Carolyn of Wilmington and Thomas E.O. Gould and his wife Nancy of Slidell, LA; a daughter, Paula G. Cilley and her husband Donald of Cheshire, CT; a niece, Catherine Perez of Chicago; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A brother, William E. Bowman, predeceased her.
Marion was born in Belmont, the daughter of Albert William and Anna Louise (Kelley) Bowman.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Buckminster Cemetery in Barre. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
