WORCESTER - Mario C. Figueroa Cintron, 48, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Mario was the son of Ramonita Cintron and the late Domingo Figueroa and lived many years in Worcester.He will be affectionately remembered and missed by his children, Cesar Y. and Rose M. Figueroa both of Worcester; his mother, Ramonita Cintron of Worcester; two brothers, Jaime F. Arroyo and his partner, Marisel Colon of Southbridge and Domingo Figueroa of Southbridge; a sister, Aracelis Arroyo of Worcester; two grandchildren, Junielys M. Tirado and Jayden Y. Figueroa; and a nephew, Jeremiah Arroyo Centeno of Worcester.Mario's life was centered on his strong faith and devotion to his family. He was a faithful member of Holden Chapel and will be remembered for his kind and compassionate nature. Besides spending time with family, he enjoyed watching and following New England sport teams.Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mario's family from 10 am to 12 noon on Friday, September 15, at Holden Chapel, 279 Reservoir St., Holden, followed by a funeral service honoring his life at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holden Chapel, 279 Reservoir St., Holden, MA 01520.
