SPENCER - Marilyn (Fancey) Keough, age 85, died peacefully at home on Monday, May 13, 2024, surrounded by the loving presence of her family.

Born in Detroit, Marilyn was the daughter of Earl and Byleam (Osborne) Fancey.

Marilyn worked for many years as an administrative assistant at Paul Revere Insurance Company. She enjoyed spending special times with her daughter and sons, sightseeing with Don around New England, and visiting casinos. Marilyn and Don hosted holidays and cookouts at the cottage on the pond for family and friends.

Marilyn will be lovingly missed and remembered by her partner of 37 years, Donald Morrow of Spencer; her sons, Ronald Keough and his wife, Leah of Farmington, NH, Kenneth Keough of Rutland and Thomas Keough of Rutland and her grandson Joe Garbose of Florida; Don's 3 children and 3 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Faith (Keough) Benoit in February 2022 and her sister Joan (Fancey) Leard in March 2022.

Family and friends will gather to honor Marilyn's memory at a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 23rd at the First Congregational Church of Rutland, 264 Main Street, Rutland. Interment will follow at Rural Cemetery in Rutland. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
