HUDSON, NH - Marilyn Ann (Good) Dillman

Marilyn passed away peacefully with her husband and family at her side on Thursday, February 4, 2021. She was born April 24, 1934 in Worcester MA, and was the daughter of Elanor and Norman Good of Paxton, MA. Marilyn and her husband Donald Francis Dillman were married for 66 years and resided in Worcester, Holden, Southborough, and Sarasota, FL before spending the last three years at Fairview Senior Nursing Center in Hudson, NH. Marilyn and her family also spent over 40 years of summers living and vacationing on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH.

Marilyn was predeceased by her sisters, Beverly Mayo of Charlotte, NC and Barbara Lampe of Greenwood, SC.

She is survived by her husband, Donald and their three sons, Scott and his wife Karen, Andy and his wife, Alison, and Steve and his wife, Susan, and seven grandchildren, Christopher, Heather, Courtney, Michael, Kelsey, Jack, and Meredith.

Marilyn graduated from The Bancroft School in 1953 and attended Colby Junior College and later graduated from Pine Manor College in 1985 with a B.A. in English.

Marilyn was very active in the community in both the Worcester and Lake Winnipesaukee areas where she was the President of five different PEO chapters, co-founder of the Southborough Garden Club, active vestry member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Meredith, NH and Saint Mark’s Church in Southborough. She also refinished and built furniture at the Worcester Center for Crafts.

She married the love of her life, Donald, and raised their family in Holden and Southborough. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world and loved to host big family gatherings. She was the ultimate hostess. She was also active in outdoor sports, including cross country skiing, golfing and boating.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Senior Living Center for the superb care they have provided to both Marilyn and Don over the past three years.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 to 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 24 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
Appropriate Covid-19 protocol will be observed including the use of face masks and social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
