WORCESTER – Marie A. (Langevin) Turgeon, 75, went home to our Lord surrounded by loved ones on February 17, 2012, at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Her husband of 48 years, Joseph G. Turgeon, passed away in 2009. She leaves four sons, James J. Turgeon, his wife Cheryl of Worcester and their son Michael; Bryan T. Joyce, his wife Linda of Worcester and their children, Aubrey, Richard and Alyssa; William S. Turgeon, his wife Pennie of Holden and their children, Alex, Rachel and Daniel; and Jeffrey T. Turgeon, his wife Kim of Northborough and their children, Joshua, Alexis and Marissa; a daughter, Debra M. Joyce, her partner Michael Anderson of Worcester and her children, Joseph Richardson and Jonathan Stebbins; a sister, Theresa Drake of Charlton; two great-grandchildren, James and Ethan Stebbins; and many nieces and nephews. A grandson, Matthew A. Turgeon, predeceased her in 2008.
Marie was born in Worcester, the daughter of William S. and F. Gertrude (LeBlanc) Langevin and lived most of her life in Worcester. She graduated from Paul Hale Fanning Trade School in Worcester and monogrammed for Denholm and McKay Department Store. She was a member of Christ the King Church. Marie spent many years summering at Old Orchard Beach, Maine and wintered in Las Vegas, Nevada. She devoted her life to her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 24th, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral for Marie will be held on Saturday, February 25th, from the funeral home with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton.
