LEOMINSTER - Maribeth (Smith) Worthy, 61, passed away on November 25, 2014.
Maribeth was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Virgil G. and Doris J. (Sheid) Smith and was an English teacher for many years before retiring in 2014.
She leaves her son, Michael T. Worthy of Brooklyn, NY; her sister, Karen Bradney of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and generations of students she inspired.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the calling hours from 12 to 2 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
