“Nana” as she was lovingly called by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved to spend time with all of them. When visiting with her , the children all loved to entertain her with musical instruments, singing, and dancing. They are all sad beyond imagination and will miss their wonderful conversations and time spent together.

Marian graduated Revere High School and was a member of the National Honor Society. She worked in an office until she married George, the love of her life. They first lived in Chelsea, but in the early 1950’s they moved to Swampscott, where she became very active in numerous organizations. She chaired various committees of Temple Israel’s Sisterhood, as well as being a life member of Hadassah.

In 1964 the Nataupsky’s moved to Worcester and immediately became members of Beth Israel Synagogue. Marian became active in the Synagogue Sisterhood and she became a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish Healthcare Center.

Marian was the last of the great balaboostas. She loved cooking, baking, and entertaining. She would open her house to her entire family for the holidays and on Passover every family went home with a sponge cake. She loved to travel with the Worcester Jewish Community Center and with the Williams family. She enjoyed playing Canasta and Mah Jong with her friends, but her most treasured thing in life was her family.
