Marian and Woody retired to their home in Cardigan, Prince Edward Island, Canada, wintering in Holden. In Cardigan, Marian was an active participant in local crafts and community groups, as well as hosting family and friends. She was an accomplished pianist, retaining her fine touch and ear until the last weeks of her life. Marian was a member of the Chaffin Congregational Church where she played the piano and organ, sang in the choir and was a member of the Christian Service Circle.

She is survived by Sandra Hakkarainen and her husband Karl, John MacGregor and his wife Suanne of Bridgewater, Barbara Ball and husband Craig of South Yarmouth and Scott MacGregor and his wife Valeria of Las Vegas, NV. She is survived by her grandchildren, Michael Hakkarainen and his wife Lynn, Adam Hakkarainen and his wife Jennifer, Lori MacGregor, Timothy and Matthew Ball and Russell, Phillip, and Scott MacGregor; and great-grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Joseph, Krista, Tess, Lily and Cassie. She was predeceased by her siblings, William, Leonard, Robert, Helen and Mary Ethel.

The family thanks the staff at Sterling Village and JHC Hospice for their wonderful, personal and professional care.
