PRINCETON – Marguerite P. (Perkins) Gleason, 81, of 85 Gleason Road, died peacefully at home in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, December 29, 2005.
Her husband of 37 years, Raymond H. Gleason, died in 1987. She leaves her daughter, Anita G. and her husband Stephen D. Cook of Princeton; and two grandchildren, Benjamin G. and his wife Katherine Cook of Nashua, New Hampshire and William R. Cook of Princeton. She was born and raised in Ogunquit, Maine, daughter of Orison W. and Gladys O. (Harding) Perkins, and lived in Princeton for 55 years.
Mrs. Gleason graduated Wells High School and was a secretary for Digital Equipment Corporation in Westminster for 18 years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Princeton. She loved sewing, cooking and gardening.
The funeral for Mrs. Gleason will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 2, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Spring burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Connor Lane, Princeton. Calling hours are from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 1, in the funeral home.
