HOLDEN /WORCESTER – Marguerite "Margaret" M. (Allaire) Bosse, also known as "Auntie", 98, formerly of Worcester, died peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2008 in Holden Nursing Home. Her husband, Leo P. Bosse, died in September of 1985. She leaves a nephew, Edward L. Parady and his wife Sandra of Hubbardston; many cousins; and a multitude of great friends who were very faithful in visiting her in the nursing home.
Margaret was born in St. Ours, Province of Quebec on December 11, 1909, and was the daughter of Charles and Aloysia (Fredette) Allaire. She was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters. She lived in Jefferson for 35 years before moving to Worcester in 1960. She worked for various woolen miles and was an avid bowler playing in leagues for many years. She was a lover of animals especially her beloved cat, Sue-Sue, her longtime companion. Margaret will be missed by so many people and was a friend to many.
Margaret's family would like to thank Dr. Janet Abrahamian for all the love and compassion she received while in her care. A special thanks also to the entire staff of Holden Nursing Home for their excellent care where Margaret was treated with compassion, love and dignity.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5th, in St. Mary's Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. At her request, there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606; or the Holden Nursing Home, Residents Activity Fund, 32 Mayo Drive, Holden, MA 01520. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
