STERLING/WORCESTER – Marguerite E. (Moreau) Boucher, 88, of 159A Rowley Hill Road, Sterling, died Monday, November 7, 2005, in Clinton Hospital after a brief illness.
She leaves her husband of 63 years, Arthur X. Boucher; two sons, Walter J. Boucher of Worcester and Frank J. Boucher of Sterling; two grandchildren, Mark Boucher and Lisa Carrier; and a great-grandson, Nicholas O’Brien. She was born in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Barnable) Moreau, and lived in Worcester before moving to Sterling four years ago.
Mrs. Boucher graduated Worcester Girls Trade. She worked many years for Astro Foam in Worcester, retiring in 1982. Previously she worked for Wesby Book Bindery in Worcester. She enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting.
The funeral service for Mrs. Boucher will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home prior to the service.
