WORCESTER – Margaret M. (Vesh) McGrail, 90, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was born and raised in West Boylston, the daughter of Antonio and Libra (Protano) Vesh.
Margaret moved to Worcester following her marriage to James J. McGrail. She was a bookkeeper for various companies in Worcester County throughout her career. It was her love for travel that kept her active and vibrant in her later years. She was a member of St. George Church and very active with the Worcester Senior Center and hardly missed a trip.
Margaret’s beloved husband, James J. McGrail, died in 1990. She is survived by her nephew, Ronald Vescaro; her nieces, Suzanne M. Russo, AnnMarie Kissel and Dorothy Faherty; seven grandnieces and nephews; and eight great-grandnieces and nephews; her cousin, Virginia; and her good friend, Marie of Dudley. She was predeceased by her brothers, Patsy Vescaro and Carmen Vesh; and her sister, Virginia Vesh.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden followed by a procession to St. George Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester.
