Margaret Morais

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Margaret “Peggy” Morais, 80, who died peacefully in her sleep on April 14, 2025. She resided most of her life in Cambridge and was well known and loved in that community.

She leaves behind her loving daughters, Karen Hartshorn and her partner Sid, Sharon Silva and her husband Joe, and Linda Jameson; her twin brother Michael Pacheco and his wife Janet; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Morais; her parents, Francisco and Margaret (Costa) Pacheco; and siblings, Lucy Almeida, Manny Pacheco, Francis Pacheco, Benny Pacheco, and Gabriella Cabral.

Her absence from our lives is heartbreaking and she will be missed dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 17th from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at Miles-Sterling Funeral Home & Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be private.
