HOLDEN – Margaret “Peg” L. (Will) Drawbridge, 103, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Alexander and Margaret B. (Louden) Will and had lived in Holden since 1958.
Her husband of 45 years, William J. Drawbridge, passed away in 1986. She leaves two children, Nancy J. Muszynski and her husband, William of Worcester and Bruce L. Drawbridge and his wife, Donna of Campton Hill, IL; five grandchildren, Mary Muszynski, Anna Muszynski, Adam Muszynski, Lauren Drawbridge and Lisa Lasiter; many nephews, nieces, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by her son, William J. Drawbridge, Jr. and nine sisters and brothers.
Margaret graduated from Becker College of Business Administration and Secretarial Science and worked for 11 years for Standard Oil Company of New York, now Exxon Mobil. She was proud of her Scottish heritage and was a long time member of Chaffin Congregational Church, where she was a deacon, auditor, Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir and with her husband was a financial secretary for 14 years. She was a member of the Holden Historical Society, Old Sturbridge Village, Mechanics Hall and the National Geographic Society.
