Margaret E. (Bergstrom) Severance

WORCESTER – Margaret E. (Bergstrom) Severance, 98, of 16 Heroult Road, died at home on Wednesday, October 19, 2005.
Her husband of 66 years, Percy W. Severance, died in 1994. She leaves her son, Donald H. Severance and his wife Kathleen of Francestown, NH; a daughter, Margaret Houle Forkner of Worcester; a sister, Gunhild Anderson of Holden; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Severance was born in Varmland, Sweden, daughter of August and Anna (Swenson) Bergstrom, and lived most of her life in Worcester. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and was a member of the Burncoat Congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
A memorial service for Mrs. Severance will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 29, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will be private in Rural Cemetery, 180 Grove Street, Worcester. A visitation period will be held from 10:30 to 12:00 noon on Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Burncoat Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 659 Franklin Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
