Margaret "Jane" (Daringer) Kinnunen

STERLING - Margaret "Jane" (Daringer) Kinnunen, 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Octocber 11, 2019 after a long battle with Breast Cancer at River Terrace Rehabilitation & Heathcare Center in Lancaster, MA. Her beloved husband, Ronald W. Kinnunen passed away in 1981.
Jane was born in Ft. Benning, GA and raised in New Jersey. Daughter of Richard Daringer and the late Geraldine (Canning) Daringer. Jane met and married the love of her life, Ronald Kinnunen, where they resided in Reno, NV and together they raised 2 children until his untimely death at age 39. At which time Jane was 7 months pregnant with her their third child. Jane went on to raise their family as a single mother moving to Hamilton, NJ, until 10 years ago when she moved to Sterling, MA . She loved caring for children and was a local nanny for many years. Jane has become a faithful member of Hope Chapel in Sterling, MA where she developed many friendships.
Jane will be lovingly missed and remembered by her two sons, Ronald Kinnunen II, and his wife Angela of Hamilton, NJ, and Richard Kinnunen of Gardner, MA, and daughter, Sonja Kinnunen of Leominster along with her step daughter Crystal Burkel of Hamilton, NJ. Jane is survived by her siblings, Dolly Miller of Sterling, Allen Daringer of Reading, PA, deceased brother, Jacob Daringer formally from Bordentown NJ, Elsie Daringer of Cathedral City, CA, Lois Kochis of Skillman, NJ, Louise Stoop of Yardville, NJ, and Mary Whitehead of Lawrenceville, NJ and their spouses; nine grandchildren including Ronald, Stacey, Tristan and Isis Kinnunen and Isabella and Ariana Sola.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19, at 11:00 am in Hope Chapel, 35 Chocksett Road, Sterling. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
