Margaret A. (Osborne) Kane

WORCESTER – Margaret A. (Osborne) Kane, 83, of 3703 Knightsbridge Close, died at home on Saturday, April 15, 2006.
Her husband of 54 years, Lawrence T. Kane, died in May of 2001. She leaves her son, James L. Kane of Biloxi, Mississippi; two daughters, Liz Myska and her husband Frank with whom she lived and Maryann M. Sorrell of Pottstown, PA; a brother, James E. Osborne of Pennsicola, FL; a sister, Mary R. Osborne of Worcester; and two grandchildren, Amanda E. and Rebecca H. Sorrell of Pottstown, PA. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Augustine R. and Mary E. (Butler) Osborne, and was a graduate of North High School.
The funeral for Mrs. Kane will be held on Saturday, April 22, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will be private in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 21, in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or memorial donations may be made to the Tower Hill Botanical Garden, P.O. Box 598, Boylston, MA 01505.
