M. Patricia (Mulvany) Deamer

March 26, 1944 — March 14, 2017

WEST BOYLSTON - M. Patricia (Mulvany) Deamer, 72, passed away peacefully at her home in West Boylston on March 14, 2017 after a brief illness. Born March 26, 1944 in Bath, ME,  she was the daughter of the late James and Marion (Beverley) Mulvany and sister of the late John Mulvany.
She grew up and attended school in Acton, MA, graduating in 1962 and was a 1967 graduate of Northeastern University. She spent the next 34 years teaching Elementary School in Ayer, MA where she met her husband, Donald and made many lifelong friendships with her coworkers. She always had a love of education and was nominated by her students to be honored a "Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers", 1996.   Pat lived in the Worcester, Holden, West Boylston area for the past 38 years.
After her retirement, she and Don enjoyed worldwide travel, many family vacations  (Pat loved her new role as Nana) and wintering on the beaches of Sarasota and its surrounds. Pat enjoyed her “Book Club” gatherings with her tight  knit group of friends.  It was a welcome reason to eat, drink, laugh and discuss each other's problems. Always the gregarious hostess, Pat threw many memorable parties, many of them ending with breakfast the next day. A kind and generous person, Pat leaves to cherish her memory, Donald, her husband of 36 years; step children, Deborah Deamer (Brian) Indelicato and Donald (Rick) Deamer; grandchildren, Dominic and Matthew Indelicato; her sister, Jane (Mike) Rollins of Naples, Florida; and her nephew, Patrick Mulvany and family of Houston Texas; sister-in-law, Dot Deamer Sullivan (Mike) and their wonderful children Maureen, Patty, Jimmy, Kevin and John; and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Patricia's family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, in the Our Lady of Rosary Church, 25 Fales Street, Worcester.  Donations welcomed to the American Lung Association or a charity of one’s choice.
Pat we love you and miss you. You will be forever in our hearts.
