HOLDEN - M. Lillian (White) Forsman, 95, a longtime resident of the Jefferson section of Holden, died Monday, August 22, 2005, in Haven Health Center in Danielson, Connecticut.
Her husband, Elmer H. Forsman, died in 1979. She leaves her son, Carl T. Forsman, Sr. of Barre; a daughter, Nancy C. Stevenson of Putnam, Connecticut; two sisters, Agnes Hickey of Jefferson and Evelyn Rolander of Pinellas Park, FL; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. A son, Kenneth E. Forsman, predeceased her. She was born in Oxford, daughter of Melois and Elizabeth (Bourgeois) White. She had worked for the former Duesburg-Bosson Woolen Spinning Company in Jefferson and ran one of the first Taxi companies in Holden. She was a summer resident of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire for many years and enjoyed gardening.
A graveside service for Mrs. Forsman will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 26, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden.
