RUTLAND – Luke Inwood, 17, the son of John and Patty (Dean) Inwood, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from injuries received from an automobile accident in Holden.
Besides his loving parents, Luke leaves his brother, Logan Inwood of Rutland; grandparents, David and Judy (Garrah) Dean of Brockville, Ontario; grandparents, Lyle and Donna (Halligan) Inwood of Kingston, Ontario; great-grandparents, Bill and Edna (Stoness) Halligan of Kingston, Ontario; and three uncles, two aunts and their families, Bill and Janet White and their two sons, Jacob and Nicholas, Scott and Gail Dean and their two children, Christopher and Victoria, Sue Inwood and her son, Alex, Rick Inwood and his daughter, Olivia.
Luke was a senior at Wachusett Regional High School. His infectious personality made him a friend to many. He was incredibly funny and always the life of the party. His favorite pastimes were shooting hoops and playing ping pong with “the boys”. He loved music. Luke was a highly competitive Xbox gamer and played on multiple Call of Duty teams finishing this year on a national team that was ranked in the top 24 in the country. Luke will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and great friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Luke’s family from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A private graveside service at Rural Cemetery in Rutland will be held for the family.
