HOLDEN – Louise (Oberg) Sjosten, 89, of Holden died on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 in Princeton Medical Center, Princeton, New Jersey.
Her husband of 50 years, Arthur Sjosten, died in 1990. She leaves a daughter with whom she lived, Lisa Johnson and her husband Jerry of West Windsor, New Jersey; a son, David Sjosten and his wife Arlene of Worcester; a sister, Edna Oberg of Fitchburg; two grandchildren, Sara Hazelton and John Sjosten; and four great grandchildren. A sister, Phyllis Needham, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of David and Lily (Bergmark) Oberg, and lived 50 years in Holden and spent much of the last ten years in New Jersey.
Mrs. Sjosten was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Worcester and enjoyed music.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sjorsten will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will be private in Grove Cemetery, 1290 Main Street, Holden. A visitation period will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service in the funeral home.
