Louis H. Roy Jr.

Louis H. Roy Jr. of Paxton passed away on June 26, 2022, at the age of 81. He was born in Worcester to Louis J. and Yvonne A. Roy.
He graduated from Worcester Boy’s Trade as a welder. During his four years of active duty in the Air Force, he acquired his knowledge of electronics. He later served 25 years in the Massachusetts Air National Guard. Louis worked for Advanced Instruments until he retired in 2006. He loved animals and had a unique variety of interests. Some of those included archery, and woodworking plus building and maintaining his home computers. Louis also enjoyed reading and movies but specifically anything in the science fiction or comedies section.
Louis is survived by his wife of 42 years, Deborah A. (Pierce) Roy; his brothers-in-law, Daniel G. Pierce of Palm Coast, FL, Robert B. Pierce Jr. of North Scituate, RI, and Timothy D. Pierce of Burnet, Texas; one sister-in-law, Rebecca E. P. Latino of Paxton; and a plethora of extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family hopes that donations will be made to Worcester Animal Rescue League. Funeral services will be held privately at the family’s request.
