Lorraine A. (Kennedy) Bunewith
August 4, 1936 — September 13, 2019
WORCESTER - Lorraine A. (Kennedy) Bunewith, 83, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 13, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital. Lorraine was born on August 4, 1936 in Clinton to Claude and Helen (O'Malley) Kennedy. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert P. Bunewith and her sister, Patricia A. Kennedy.
Most important to Lorraine was her family. They loved her and will deeply miss her. She leaves behind her four daughters, Debra Roberge and her partner, Richard Zamoita of Worcester, Karen O'Neil and her husband, Kevin of Worcester, Laurie Fitzpatrick and her husband, Kevin of West Boylston and Jill Vessella of North Grosvenordale, CT; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed reading, playing bingo and socializing. She was her happiest in the comfort of her home with her family and friends.
Lorraine's family would like to express their thanks to the staff at the Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion during Lorraine's last few years.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Lorraine's family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, September 16, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 17, from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 23 Fales Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester.
