Lorene (Leonard ) Wolf

HICKORY, NC – Lorene Andrea Leonard Wolf, 55, a resident of Hickory, formerly of Framingham and Wayland, Massachusetts, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 24, 2007. “Lory” was born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia on July 5, 1952 to Stuart Leonard of Vero Beach, Florida and the late Anne (Johnson) Leonard, a native of Holden, Massachusetts.

She leaves her father, Stuart Leonard; a daughter, Vanessa L. Wolf and sons, Christopher E. Wolf and Griffin M. Wolf, all of Hickory, NC; a sister, Karen Kortes and husband, Carl, of Rockwall, TX; a brother, Gary Leonard and wife, Cindy of Wayland; nephews, C.J. Kortes and John Kortes, both of Rockwall, TX; a loving companion, Scott Swabsky of Drexel, NC; and many cousins and extended family members.
Lory moved to the Framingham/Wayland, Mass. area in 1981, where many people knew her as the manager-receptionist at Daryl Christopher Salons in Wayland and Boston. In 1996 she and her family relocated to North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 11th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Grove Cemetery, Holden.
