HOLDEN - Freda L. Migdelany, 67, of 789 Wachusett St., died at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, after a brave battle with ovarian cancer.
She leaves two brothers, Edward G. Migdelany, Jr. and his wife Maureen of Shrewsbury, John R. Migdelany and his wife Gerry of Holden; two sisters, Terry A. Migdelany of Holden and Jeanne K. Askins and her husband Mickey of Key Largo, FL; and six nieces and nephews, Robin Migdelany, Carie Brewer, Cindy Smith, Todd and Eric Migdelany and E. Bryant Askins. She was born in Holden, daughter of Edward G. and Lillian M. (Fowler) Migdelany, Sr., and was a life-long resident of Holden.
Freda was a 1957 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School and a 1959 graduate of Becker Junior College. She was a title clerk for George Luddy Chevrolet in Holden for the last eight years. Previously she worked for Worcester Pressed Steel in Worcester, General Medical Supply formerly of Shrewsbury and UMass Memorial Hospital, University Campus, Worcester.
A memorial service for Freda will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 1st, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Interment will be private in Grove Cemetery, Holden. Family and friends are invited to calling hours are from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 31st, in the funeral home.
