STERLING – Jean L. (Lude) Kirkpatrick, 84, of Auburn and a former resident of Sterling, died Saturday, July 4, 2009 in the Life Care Center of Auburn.
Her husband of 50 years, Joseph G. Kirkpatrick, died in 1998. She leaves five sons, Dr. Joseph G. Kirkpatrick, Jr. of Sutton, David P. Kirkpatrick of Plymouth, John "Ted" T. Kirkpatrick of Eliot, Maine, Douglas M. Kirkpatrick of Brimfield and James R. Kirkpatrick of Lancaster, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born on November 24, 1924 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George and Helen (Pollman) Lude and lived in Hudson, Ohio; Northborough, Massachusetts; and Hendersonville, North Carolina. Before returning to the Worcester area, she was living in Martha's Vineyard. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a homemaker and a member of St. Richard of Chichester Church in Sterling.
The private funeral service will be held in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Sterling.
