WORCESTER – Kenneth L. Larson, Sr., 74, of 111 Country Club Blvd., died at home on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 25 years, Beverly R. (Tobolson) Rosenthal Larson; four sons, James J. Larson, Christopher M. Larson and his wife Katie, all of Holden; Kenneth L. Larson, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Jefferson and Stephen Rosenthal and his wife Michele of Hudson; a daughter, Tara S. Husson and her husband Steven of Worcester; 13 grandchildren; and his former wife, Sue M. Kelleher and her husband Jack of Holden. His daughter, Kimberly L. Carroll, died in 2005.
Ken was born and raised in Worcester, the son of G. Harold and Esther E. (Dahl) Larson. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict and was in the reserves from 1957 to 1962. He was a meat cutter for many local markets throughout Worcester County with his last position at the Big D market in Worcester. He enjoyed painting, drawing cartoons, woodworking and crafts and he adored spending time with his grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 11 a.m. to 12 noon followed by a funeral service at 12 noon on Friday, April 9th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden.
