WORCESTER – Elizabeth "Liz" Thorin, 52, of First Street, died peacefully at home on Monday, October 5, 2009.
She leaves her beloved brother, John Robert Walls of Worcester; her cat "Rusty' and many other relatives and friends. Her sister, Kelly Miles, predeceased her in 2005. Liz was born in Worcester, a daughter of Robert and Jeanne (Bergman) Walls and has lived in Worcester her entire life. She was a volunteer at the Seven Hills Foundation in Worcester for many years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 9th, in St. Mary's Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Website Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Seven Hills Foundation, 81 Hope Avenue, Worcester, MA 01603-2299. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
