RUTLAND – Lisa J. (Doyon) Renshaw, 53, of Bethany Dr., died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, December 22, 2012. Born in Leominster, Lisa was the daughter of Ernest and Sally (Young) Doyon and lived Worcester before moving to Rutland in 1983.
Lisa was a 1977 graduate of Doherty Memorial High School and later attended Quinsigamond Community College both in Worcester. She was a group home manager at Seven Hills in Worcester where she worked for 20 years. She previously worked at Himmer Ambulance Co. in Worcester from 1979 to 1983.
Gracious, kind and generous by nature, Lisa will be lovingly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family members. She enjoyed sewing, spending time in her garden, cooking and took great pride in maintaining an immaculate house.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 18 years, Michael “Mick” J. Renshaw; a son, Jacob J. Kalinowski of Worcester; three daughters, Ashley M. Patterson of Rutland, Michela L. Walsh of Rutland, and Briana L. Walsh of Conway, SC; two sisters, Veronica Whitson and her husband Ivan of Worcester and Michelle Rondeau of Dudley; five grandchildren, Benjamin and Savannah Patterson, Leah Foreman, Isabell Samartino and Riley M. Brice; her mother-in-law, Mary J. (Lebel) Renshaw; four step-brothers; a step-sister; nephews and nieces.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, followed by a funeral service honoring Lisa’s life at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private. To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit:
