Linda Ann (Huikku) Toppin

WEST BOYLSTON - Linda Ann (Huikku) Toppin, 61, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, February 18, 2006, surrounded by her loving family and friends after a brief struggle with cancer.
She leaves her husband of 42 years, Richard Toppin; two children, Sarah Toppin of Hatfield and David Toppin his wife Jennifer, and their children Taylor, Cameron, Courtney, Andrew and Alexa of Holden; three brothers, Robert and Paul and their wives Norma and Diane, Bruce Towner and his wife Natalie of Hardwick; and many nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Ann Louise Marie (Huikku) Coran of Worcester. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Lily (Lund) Huikku and Vaino IJ Huikku.
Mrs. Toppin graduated from North High School, Worcester Junior College and Clark University. She was an antique dealer for the past 40 years, a business she loved and in which she had many friends around the world. She enjoyed traveling and history.
The funeral for Mrs. Toppin will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Make-a-Wish Foundation, 120 Front Street, Suite 340, Worcester, MA 01608; or to a charity of one’s choice.
