Lillian L. (Larivee) Bouchard

October 8, 1930 — April 29, 2017

HOLDEN/WORCESTER – Lillian L. (Larivee) Bouchard, 86, longtime Holden resident, passed away peacefully with her daughters at her side on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Worcester. Born and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire, Lillian was the daughter of Odule and Blanche (Labbie) Larivee. She met her future husband, J. Gerard F. Bouchard, while in high school. She was a proud graduate of Notre Dame Hospital School of Nursing in Manchester, NH and worked as a nurse early in their marriage. She and Jerry raised their family of four in Manchester and Nashua, NH before relocating to Holden. They were happily married for 54 years until Jerry’s passing in 2006. Lillian’s life was centered on faith and family. She was an active member of St. Christopher’s Parish in Nashua, NH and St. Mary’s Church, in Jefferson, and enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching religious education, and serving as an Eucharistic Minister. She also volunteered her time to many organizations including Catholic Charities, The Mustard Seed and Meals on Wheels. She will be affectionately remembered and missed by her three daughters, Bernice M. Melancon of Saratoga Springs, NY, Claudette M. Stone of Amherst, NH, and Camille M. Bouchard- Chhoeuk and her husband, Sang of Holden; twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, her brother, Gil Larivee, and her husband, Gerard, Lillian is predeceased by her beloved son, Daniel G. Bouchard. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Lillian’s family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, at St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton St., Jefferson. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Mary’s Church, P.O.
