Biography
WORCESTER – Lillian (Einhorn) Goldin, age 94, died on Sunday, April 9, 2018 at UMass Memorial Healthcare.Her husband, Gerson Goldin died in 2004. She leaves a son, Daniel Goldin of Milwaukee, WI; two daughters, Claudia, wife of Lester Ross of Worcester, and Merrill Goldin, wife of Gus Edwards of Chandler, AZ; two grandchildren, Adam Ross of Washington, DC and Jocelyn Ross-Lindeman of Vancouver, BC; and a great grandson, Gordon Ross.She graduated Queens College and received a Masters in Education at St. John’s University. She was a special education teacher in the New York City elementary school system for many years, and a life-long avid reader.She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Klein) Einhorn and had lived in Worcester since 2012.GRAVESIDE FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11:00 AM ON SUNDAY, APRIL 15TH IN NEW MONTEFIORE CEMETERY, 1180 WELLWOOD AVENUE, WEST BABYLON, NY, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN.Memorial Observance will be held, Monday, April 16th from 5:00 PM through 8:00 PM at the residence of Claudia and Lester Ross, 10 Dubiel Drive, Worcester. A Minyan service will be held at 7:00PM on Monday evening.Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452. “Family Owned”
