WORCESTER - Lillian (Sheines) Glixman, age 98, died on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Eisenberg Assisted Living Residence. She was born in Revere and was the daughter of the late Harry and Maime (Solomon) Sheines and had lived in Worcester for over 70 years.
She was the beloved wife of 43 years to the late Dr. Harry E. Glixman.
She was the loving sister to her predeceased siblings: Irene Druck and Sarah Sheines.
She was known for a lifetime of giving and kindnesses. She will be remembered fondly by her family and dear friends.
Lillian graduated from Revere High School and worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Come Play Products of Worcester. She volunteered for many organizations in Worcester including Hadassah and was a life member Jewish Healthcare Center. Lillian was a long time member of Temple Emanuel-Sinai.
She enjoyed playing Mahjong, Bingo, Rummikub with very good friends at Eisenberg Assisted Living.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 21st at the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester under the direction of Richard Perlman of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.
Immediately following the interment service at B’Nai Brith Cemetery in Worcester the family invites everyone to return to a reception at the Eisenberg Assisted Living Residence, 631 Salisbury Street, Worcester, where a Memorial Observance will be held through 4:30PM. A Minyan service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, at Eisenberg Assisted living.
