CHARLTON – James L. Hanson, 65, of Lincolnton, North Carolina died Thursday, January 8, 2009 in the Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville, North Carolina.
His leaves his wife of 34 years, Kathleen A. (Powers) Hanson; his son, Richard J. Hanson and his companion Wendy Brisebois of Southbridge; and a niece, Kathy O'Connor of Worcester. He was born in Worcester the son of Russell and Loretta L. (Donahue) Hanson and lived 15 years in Charlton, Paxton, and several years in Las Vegas before moving to Lincolnton in 2005.
Mr. Hanson was an equipment operator for Allied Waste in Stanley, North Carolina where he worked the last three years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 15th, at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton.
