HOLDEN – Lester W. Knapton, 93, formerly of 202 Brattle Street, died on Monday, October 17, 2005, in The Meadows of Leicester.
His wife, Minna (Fischer) Knapton, died in 1987. Mr. Knapton worked at Norton Company in Worcester for 20 years retiring in 1977. He was a World War II Army Veteran.
The funeral service for Mr. Knapton will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Burial will be in Edson Cemetery, 1392 Gorham Road, Lowell. Donations may be made to the VNA Care Network, Development Office, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
